I ended up sitting directly in front of a statue, which completely obstructed my view, but that was ok since we spent a good deal of our time meditating with our eyes closed. This was the first time (other than in Greg’s morning yoga and meditation sessions, which I had only been to a handful of times) that I had ever really meditated with the intention to practice Buddhism.
